Bio

Born and raised in Ferguson, Missouri, Markesha started singing and performing her very first year in High School. Afterwards, she received her formal training at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy then later went on to attend the The New School University in New York City.  Since graduating, Markesha stayed and based herself in the Big Apple.

Markesha is your Character Actor, your Diva, your Soul Singer. 
She’s the Timid Wife, the BFF, or the Crazy Aunt. 
Anything from the Queen to wicked witch, you won’t be able to take your eyes off her. 

Markesha loves creating and thinking outside of the norm. She thrives on stepping out of her comfort zone, remaining open and using every crayon in the box. Working in the Arts gives you the opportunity to continuously grow, learn and evolve. Markesha thrives on the chance to dive into new characters and have their stories transcend and take shape. She has been super lucky to travel the world and perform in front of so many and is excited to work with you!
